Wonderful place, setting a new standard for children's bookstores. Beautifully designed, great offering and extremely friendly staff!

This is my Grandsons favourite book shop. The owners and staff are enthusiastic about giving youngsters a fun reading experience.

Called into today this absolutely lovely local book shop. We as a family walked past the wonderful window displays many times but not made it in till today.Myself and my daughter (2years old) popped in and where warmly greeted. They kindly explained where everything was including they sell coffees/hot drinks which is a win as a parent.We explored the bookshop, my daughter stopping regularly to sit in the kiddie reading chairs or give the teddies a hug.There was a huge selection of kids books including all the favourites. Plenty to read there and then, toys around and just a lovely feel to the place.We will definitely be back soon!!! Thank you

Bookbugs and Dragon Tales is an award winning bookshop in the heart of Norwich specialising in children’s books and events.It’s one of the most beautiful and inviting bookshops I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. I love all the little details that make this shop magic for younger readers, from the small child sized armchairs, to the dragons hidden across the shop and the wall of drawing from amazing illustrators. There is a real sense of whimsy and that extends to the cosy space downstairs that caters to older readers. There is plenty to draw in the entire family here; a small cafe with coffee and cake and charming window seating, regular children’s workshops and adult book club meetings and author events.Aside from serving the local community, owners Leanne and Dan, hope to do outreach events to areas that don't have easy access to the city. With the closure of mobile libraries, they hope to be able to bring books to life for children and adults in more rural communities which is something incredibly noble and ambitious.The staff is always warm and friendly and up for a chat. My little one loves that everything is at her level and the shop feels like it’s made for her.If you’re ever in Norwich, pop in and say hi! I'm a teacher and we took some children to Bookbugs and Dragon Tales today for a storytelling activity and a browse around the shop. Poppy was incredible, gave them a fantastic experience and the kids loved it! It was a great price and we were made to feel very welcome!

What an excellent bookshop! Absolutely loved the service, it is probably the friendliest and most welcoming indie bookshop I've ever been to, and I go to A LOT of indie bookshops. I ended up buying a book just because I wanted to support them and their excellent service.

I had my daughter's 5th birthday party here and it was absolutely wonderful! Beautiful little venue, just perfect for a classic kids birthday party with pass the parcel, dancing and party food.The staff were so chilled and welcoming making it a lovely atmosphere and the hire price is incredible! Such good value for such a unique and special venue.They include everything you need - tables, chairs, Bluetooth speaker, fairy lights and water jugs for drinks.Parking is right across the road in the pub car park and is very reasonable for a pay and display making it super convenient.Highly recommend this fantastic space!

One of the best independent book shops in Norwich. I love the selection of adult & children’s books and how accommodating the founders are to ordering books in upon request. I also love the events they host, I went to a baby bounce here and it was just such a positive and exciting experience. Lovely coffee too. So if you’re like me and love a spot for coffee and a book, this is the spot for you.

Wonderful shop with wonderful peopleI have a ten year reading YA and all the staff are exceptional at giving carefully considered recommendations. They always remember my boys and what they've talked about...we could spend hours here. An absolute dream of a shop
