I have had Angela (salon owner) cut and colour my hair for years, and would even travel to Colchester when I lived in London so that she could do my hair. Her technique is so precise, and she is very creative and versatile, so I have had cuts of all different styles and lengths. She is a very warm and friendly person too, so it's always a pleasure to go and see her. She is great at what she does! Myself and my daughter will always be loyal clients.

THE best hairdressers! Such a quirky salon and the washing chairs are a dream, no sore or wet necks here!!!Travelled from London to return to this salon. Loved my haircut and make up from Amber wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Just had my first cut and colour after lockdown and the experience at the salon was amazing. Angela and Amber are taking every precaution to keep their clients and themselves safe. The salon is so calm and extremely clean. Brilliant colour and cut as always from Angela. Angela's expertise and attention to detail are second to none, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Also just booked in for microblading with Amber which I'm really looking forward to!

Ange is a fantastic hairdresser. She has perfected a brilliant transformation for me from brown to platinum blonde. The colour is amazing, no yellow but managing to keep my hair healthy and shiny. Both Ange and Amber are professional and have worked within the new Covid rulings but still maintaining a friendly, relaxed and fun atmosphere. Cannot recommend enough.

Finally went for a haircut after mega lockdown. I had the BEST pamper morning. I had a full head of balayage, cut and blow dry with Amber. Bit apprehensive about going to hair dressers but actually was perfect. Felt safe and well looked after. Amber and the staff took the COVID rules very seriously but still managed to make you feel incredibly comfortable and “normal”. I loved having the opportunity to sit in their private courtyard, in the sun whilst my colour set. Amber listened to how I wanted my hair and really spent time on making it perfect. I really would recommend this salon. Thanks Amber and team!

I have curly hair and was recommended to see Angela for a great haircut - and she has delivered exactly that time and time again. I recommended her to my sister, who has straight hair, and she now only goes to Angela for her colours and cuts. And now our daughters go there too. Superb workmanship!

Angela always does a fantastic job of listening to what I want to achieve with my hair and come up with ideas and great end results. A fantastic salon; so welcoming, so clean and a really friendly professional service. My last cut was after lockdown and they have handled the new face mask etc. requirements so well I would recommend to everyone! Amber did a great job on my hair. I will definitely be back.

I have followed Angela wherever she has worked for years and this is her own salon now. I can honestly say that she has given me a fantastic cut every time. I always leave feeling happy. Even when I moved to London, I came back to Colchester so she could cut my hair. Precise, creative and a lovely person too!
