Clacton tool hire are the best I needed some special drill bits and couldn't get them anywhere I do a specialist job that many others can't do and the drill bits I use were dis continued went to clacton tool hire and they managed to track some down from America great company highly recommend they put themselves out for customers beewise security give 10 out of 10

Wouldn't use this company ever again. You pay for 2 days hire and they come banging on your door 7.30am to collect. We argued the case that we didn't acyltually take delivery until 12pm. They wouldn't budge. You then have to contact them to have your deposit paid into the accont

Make sure you get a written quote for hire. Made an enquiry on a log splitter in person, and was quoted £20 a day, £30 for weekend or £40 for week (+vat).Took back today, and was charged £45+vat for weekend, and told its £30+ day or £60+ for week. There was no acceptable that they had mis-quoted.The impression that I have is that not really interested in public trade, and certainly if they are, some staff need to work on customer service skills.Not good experience, and equally the impression left with is that they don’t care. Look to other hire places first imo
