Baby swimming school

My son absolutely loves the soft play at Liscombe. It’s the perfect size for little ones. We have also loved his swimming lessons. It’s been so amazing seeing his confidence and development grow during the lessons, but also love seeing him have so much fun. The team are so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to all my friends :)

My son started with Puddleducks when he was just 7 weeks old and he loved it. We both did. It is a very special time for you both to bond. My son is now 5 and the reason I'm leaving a review now is something Jane, the franchisee, said to me that has haunted me ever since and other Mums have said that I should have made it clear how hurtful it was and it's such a shame that we stayed with Puddleducks until we moved to Salisbury when my son was nearly 1 (Puddleducks wasn't available there) and all of the amazing memories of the lessons are overshadowed by the 1 comment that Jane made. We had lessons on a Wednesday with Jane as our teacher and on our last lesson before I went back to work I thanked Jane for all her patience, told her how much we loved it and said we were changing to Saturday lessons (so a different teacher) because I was going back to work. She looked at me very shocked and said immediately That's a bit soon isn't it." I had to go back to work even though my son was only 4 months old and I was lucky enough to have my Mum coming to stay with us 4 days a week while I was working to look after him to enable me to return to work. To say that to a new Mum who really didn't want to go back to work was pretty disgusting and really upset me at the time and every time I think about our swimming in Dorset

I have been a loyal customer for nearly 3 years and sent both my boys to Puddleducks since they were around 6 weeks. They’ve developed into happy little swimmers with so much confidence in the water & set them up with a key skill for life. It’s not just been great for teaching them to swim, but was also crucial for my wellbeing in the early months as I was able to chat to new mums/dads, make friends & bond with my baby. The instructors and customer service have been absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend PD to all parents!

Good facilities and friendly staff - and the pool was warm (warm-ish anyway). This is a lovely historic building which is well maintained and holds many memories, as I remember swimming lessons here almost fifty years ago.

Had 2 amazing cakes made for my family over the last month.Red velvet for a 50th & a carrot cake for the new home pressie.Both lasted over a week and every person that tried said was one of the best cakes they had ever.Good price.Thank you to Margaret and the team at Selina's.

Really lovely bilingual swimming class for toddlers! Teachers are lovely and the lessons really helped my little one’s confidence in the water. Would highly recommend

Thomas and I have absolutely loved our swimming journey with Baby Squids Southampton both Emma and Vicky. The classes are full of fun with lots of singing and play which really gave my little boy so much water confidence, something which we have taken on with us to school swimming lessons. After only 2 school swim England swim lessons the teachers have already commented on how confident & happy Thomas is in the water. I 100% put this down to our time with Baby Squids. The instructors are all so welcoming and friendly and so enthusiastic about what they do. You can really tell they all love their job. If you are looking for a swim school to give your baby or toddler the first vital stages of water confidence and safety I can't recommend baby squids enough. Thank you all for an amazing baby toddler group. We will really miss you.

Brilliant swim school. The teachers are in the pool with the children, great for non-swimmers. All the staff are so encouraging and friendly. Both my boys are progressed so well. I would highly recommend.

I have loved out Turtle Tots experience! I started with my daughter at 4 months old and she has loved every second. I couldn’t recommend this company highly enough.

I have been taking my little one to baby H2O since he was 4 months old, he’s now 15 months and still loves his lessons with Rae (and Alba). Rae has the most confident and gentle approach, just what you need as a nervous parent teaching their baby to swim under water. I have recommended Baby H2O to everyone I know! So happy to have found the perfect swimming lessons.
