Just collected some curtains Christine altered for us. At very short notice. She went out of her way to make sure we had them done as we had none to put up.i am very happy for the service she provided and have no problem in recommending her

Very helpful and accommodating

I had a really bad customer experience with this company. The lady in the shop was treating me in a way that she was trying to get rid of me quickly. She was really keen to let me know they do not have any availability before Christmas, and when I was calmly asking her about the new year she was again treated me very badly. She was not very keen to understand my needs and timeline, not even offering any help to find out what would fit the best for me. Honestly with this level of customer service I would never go back there. As a contrast, after this I went to Muswell Hill to visit a similar curtain shop at Fostis Road and I had an excellent customer experience there. Even though the lady was helping another customer when we arrived she had time to discuss my needs, timeline and requirement and gave me a quote online later on as we agreed. Just because you are busy it does not mean you have to be completely rude, impatient and unfriendly with customers. Very bad experience.

I cannot recommend Melissa Hutcheson Interiors enough - bespoke service at prices which are very competitive with big high street names. Melissa came to my home with a huge range of beautiful fabrics in large formats (not the tiny swatches you often get sent out), allowing me to take the time to pick fabrics based on the light and furnishings in my home. Her expert advice was second to none. I selected a number of wave curtains and Roman blinds, including a motorised Roman blind. They are of beautiful quality and perfectly fitted by Melissa with the help of Steve. Aftercare second to none. Wholeheartedly recommend and wish I had more windows!

We are having curtains made up for us by Suzannes. The owner, Clare Jones, offers a very friendly and efficient service at a reasonable price. We can recommend her for the lovely choice of fabrics, the good discounts she passes on from her suppliers, and the very reasonable charge for making up the curtains. The curtains look lovely and also serve a useful purpose in making the living room warmer, as they come complete with a thermal lining.
