An absolute gem of a venue. From the minute you walk in to the little bar/cafe area the volunteer staff are brilliant. They really look after you. This is our 4th visit to this venue and don't have any major complaints. The one downside if I dare say it, is that it gets very warm in the Sumner months. As I say, this is a minor drawback on this lovely place.Price wise in the cafe/bar are very reasonable. We had a bottle of prosecco at only £20 which is very good in our books.

A smart and stylish venue. We've attended a 30th birthday party tonight and we've had a fantastic night. There is plenty of parking spaces right outside main entrance. The bar was well staffed and the prices are reasonable. There is a good sized dance floor. They allowed the buffet to be brought in. The toilet area is a bit tight for space and perhaps they could do with a make over to match the rest of the decor in the building. Definately worth considering if you are looking to private hire a venue for a function.

Victoria Venue is spacious and amazing for any special occasions. The Catering service is also amazing. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Went for a 2-day company confernece. Excellant facilities, friendly and helpful staff - felt very welcomed. Will be using again!

This historic and beautiful building has long been a favourite of mine and I'm delighted to see that it's finally getting a new lease of life after decades of neglect by its former owners. I watched the recent Michael Portillo programme delving into the station's past and was intrigued to discover that the reason there is a very tall tower incorporated into the building is that this was for the firefighters to hang their hoses in after a fire so that they could dry, and the tower was designed to be the same length as the hoses. The programme also taught me that not only the fire fighters, but their families lived in the station too, and there was a whole community of husbands wives and children dwelling inside this beautiful building sometimes for years. I can't wait to see what the new development brings and hope that the restoration is sympathetic to the building's stunning architecture and the to the legacy of bravery and heroism of the people who served there.

Incredible venue! Had an amazing work holiday party! Karl, Andy, India and Jade were all so so helpful and nothing was an issue! Can’t rate this venue any higher! Will 100% be back!

Has been my go-to hotel for years whenever I come home to Cardiff and have always been happy with it, but this is the first time I've had time to use the pool and spa, and the changing rooms were like stepping into a different building: broken/rusted lockers, broken ceiling tiles and broken locks on the shower doors, used plaster left on the bench, steam room with no steam, surly receptionist.It's a shame because the spa/pool was always a big factor for me in choosing this Hilton compared to other local hotels, I just never had the time to use it until this week.That being said everything else about the hotel is great, so if you don't plan to use the pool/gym it's 5 stars.

I had a very good experience . Recommend to all females willing to start their own business. I had a meeting and guidance session with Katherine Wyatt , which was very useful and good. I also met Rabia and her team who were very helpful and knowing about the work they do was very encouraging and inspiring.

We stayed recently, our room was very big, we only really used it to sleep as the surrounding area is so beautiful. Incredible house and gardens, imagine it's a massive labour of love. We enjoyed our stay and breakfast was good.
