FLT counterbalance course.Took a 2 day course as I have not been on a forklift for 20 years. Friendly professional staff with a suitable environment for theory and practical. Instructor Alan was easy to listen to and good and guiding me through the course every step of the way. Passed the test and would highly recommend here to anyone else thinking of passing fork lift truck test.

Got forklift about a year ago. We only use it very little, maybe once a week in average to offload from truck and load on trailer pallets of windows. Since then we have driven it for 60 hours. After initial 3 months warranty expired when we didn't use the forklift much (probably 3 times) we had nothing but problems with it. First dead battery. We asked for replacement and they came and re-charged it and asked £300. Then it died again anyway so we asked for replacement. That would be another £300 so we sourced one locally for £100. The oil and transmission fluid were totally black so we doubt there was any service done on it before sale. Solenoid broke. The technician came in and said it's not broken £300. So we warmed up the fork lift until it stopped working again. Technician was already sitting in the car ready to leave. Then came out and said it is broken. Estimated £600 repair. At the end we paid £1100 and we would pay more if we didn't stop him. For another call out. Now we had a different company technician to check the forklift and found that the head is cracked, it's all rusty underneath, the spark plugs are stuck in. So they said they will need to remove the cylinder head and recondition it. That's obviously going to cost £££. In one year we will have several thousand ££££ bill for a forklift that has done 60 hours! After the initial 3 months Dechmont forklift just don't care and charge you £300 anytime they come here to look at the trash they sold us!
