We are delighted with our lovely curtains, and will definitely use The Fabric Place again in the future. They offer great prices and an amazing service!

Button Boutique

In the years I've been visiting, I've only found items I needed about a third of the time and staff have generally been brusque to the point of rudeness. After today, where I asked about a different colour for something they stock and was treated like an irksome moron because apparently if it's not on the shelves they don't have it (so no stock room, no offer to order it) I will not be going back. Shame, because I like to support local businesses where possible, but not if they're going to make me feel like I'm of no value.

The Fabric Shop

We are having curtains made up for us by Suzannes. The owner, Clare Jones, offers a very friendly and efficient service at a reasonable price. We can recommend her for the lovely choice of fabrics, the good discounts she passes on from her suppliers, and the very reasonable charge for making up the curtains. The curtains look lovely and also serve a useful purpose in making the living room warmer, as they come complete with a thermal lining.

Really wide range of haberdashery and fabric, staff are lovely and more than willing to take on any stock requests, will definitely be a regular!

Beware!!I Took two pairs of Armani jeans in to this shop to have the legs taken up. After asking if they could do this.What a total disaster.It looks like they let a child loose on the sewing machine.Absolute nightmare service. Would not recommend.

We love The Stitchery! Absolute gem of a place in beautiful Upton. They have everything you need and more and Shirley the owner is friendly and very knowledgeable. These shops are few and far between these days so well worth the drive! We’ll be back x
