Smithills Hall
Visited as a family to the 'Father Christmas experience' event, which was truly magical. By chance, it had snowed in the local area so the grounds and hall were a winter wonderland. The efforts of the staff were brilliant which helped make the day extra special. Children could take part in the Candy Cane Trail, write and post letters to the North pole, play with toys, partake in the Elf story time and meet Father Christmas. The food, atmosphere and service in the cafe was superb! Would definitely visit again.

Really good night out.Would recommend the fast pass to make sure you can do all the scare rooms as we waited for over an hour for the last room on our list. However we had fun in the queue with our group and the brill entertainment !!The scare actors were brilliant and terrifying

The London Dungeon
Went on a Tuesday late morning in a all adult group. We booked early and got a deal on entry. Staff at the entrance were helpful and polite. Very short queue. Security was very quick.Inside, only toilets available are at the beginning before the tour. So go for a quick toilet break as its approximately 1 hour or so long and no other toilets available. The actors are very good. Now, many might say the acting is poor or amateur but this is a GROUP PARTICIPATION EVENT. If you interact with the actors, you get way more out of it. If your group doesn't talk or respond to questions/prompts the actors can only do so much. Join in for more fun. It's that simple. There is a short boat ride (if you don't want to get to wet stay on the side closest to boarding) of 3 rows of 2 seats. It's a nice feature. As you wind through the dank and foul past of Londons underbelly of the last few hundred years, you meet different people who tell you some of the horrific things that happened. From torture to death it's told in a way that's serious but fun too. The Executioner and the Baker were my favourites.A ride is available to go on, certain restrictions apply, it's a drop scare ride that lasts for like 4 - 6 seconds. Quite fun and yu can get a photo at cost afterwards.Gift shop at the end of the experience plus a spook style bar with beers, soft drinks and food.It is worth a go and it's scary for little ones.Top tip. Search for 2 for 1 London attraction vouchers. We travelled by train and found through the rail company website we could buy the tickets. We saved 50% what should have been £132 for 4 adults on a booked time slot. But paid £66. The staff only want the barcode at entry to scan. Worth it.Enjoy.

Farmaggedon
Went this evening 28/10/23.Been many times but tonight was best yet. So busy, atmosphere was fab. The maze of death was awesome ,though the meat locker and beast of terror was amazing. The actors are excellent. Queued nearly an hour for each barn. So didn't have time to go in contagion this year. Be back next year though. The band was fantastic .Great all round night. Love ❤ farmaggeddon.

Smithills Hall
Absolutely stunning place if you love old gothic/Victorian buildings. This place is FREE Admission to have a little walk around the building and the gardens. Some parts are dated back to the 1300s!Absolutely beautiful place and they also have a tea room for refreshments and a bite to eat to sit in or out. Lovley hidden gem and surrounded but the countryside.

Stourbridge Scare Maze
I went yesterday night, and it was an interesting experience. The actors did a great job, and their performances added to the overall experience. There were some good jump scares that added excitement. However, the maze itself wasn't very scary. It could be a good choice if you're not looking for something overly terrifying.

Stourbridge Scare Maze
Myself and some friends went to the scare maze on the 21st of October 2023. I'd heard rumours of people needing to leave as well as other unfortunate incidences so with that in mind we booked our tickets and were ready to investigate. The whole experience was definitely worth it and the attraction absolutely lived up to it's name especially with the clown section towards the end witha rather lively clown leader and his associates really bringing my first ever experience to an incredible conclusion. so with with that in mind I would wholeheartedly recommend the experience.

Pasaje del Terror
We went through Pasaje Del Terror, a few weeks back. This is a really great horror attraction. It always has been, since it opened. A must do for fans of horror movies. This tour really puts pride and effort into what they do. Great fun if you are up for a scare.Warning once you have paid for your ticket, if you back out. There is no refund. Book online in advance and save yourself a few quid.

Scaresville - The Haunted Village
Really disappointed! We went last year (2022) was really impressed and loved it. Returned this year and was really unimpressed. Many empty rooms and not many actors. Seemed to walk for 10 mins and walk through an empty room. Hardly got scared like the previous year. It’s a lot of money for very little experience. I wouldn’t waste your money. Will be trying trinity scares next year I think. We had a laugh but just wasn’t scary!
