Nice little walk around with Beagle during good weather. While we enjoyed it! Beagle was disappointed that there should have been more squirrels!

The Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church
This church has a friendly, embracing, intelligent congregation of liberated Gospel and Christ centred Christians. However, it's not a traditional Adventist Church and has a very energetic style of worship, bolstered by much fine biblical preaching. Any one coming from the evangelical progressive side of Adventism, or Christianity in general will enjoy this community church.

A cracking little museum, the highlight was going in the vulcan bomber, after climbing up into the cockpit, Stephanie gave us a great 10 minute chat about the history of the plane, and all the workings. I would highly recommend going, a £16 family entry fee is well worth it.

Herne Bay Pier
The current pier is just the stub of a very much longer pier that had been dismantled in 1980.I’ve been there a couple of times, but it wasn’t busy on either occasion. There are lots of outlet huts along the sides, some amusement rides and a viewing area at the end. About a mile offshore is what was once the pier head.It looks like it’s a fun place.

A great quirky local museum, really interesting and perfect for a rainy day. Plenty of local and social history to see. Staffed by volunteers who are also a wealth of additional knowledge. Nice tea rooms for a snack.

Excellent historic space. We used as a plenary space as part of a conference which worked very well. Coffee and refreshments were good. The Orator cafe bar did a good lunch and the sound was good, but do sound check.
