I made my first instore visit to SC Models a couple of weeeks ago and was extremely impressed with their service and knowledge. I went to purchase my first lipo battery knowing nothing about them. I had detailed information and was recommened one which I bought along with a brushless esc/motor combo. Again fantastic service and I would highly recommend them. I'll certainly be using them again for my future builds andd upgrades.

The staff are super knowledgeable and really helpful. The store is every kid's dream, it's an emporium of models, and it seems to have everything from fully built kits, build it yourself sets, to all the model diy parts you can think of. A proper model specialists. So happy I went there. Came away with my first RC car and now building it at home together with my 12 year old son.

Great shop - my kids love it and you can get some bargains too. Shop local instead of at big out of town shopping centres - protect the high street!

Great shop stocked with everything I needed

I remember my first trip here. And since then I got into Warhammer!Liam (not me, btw. XD It's a different Liam) was, not just helpful, but also passionate and that in itself gave me a great sense of joy!I've been painting Warhammer figurines since, and have also since been getting into the lore. It's a fascinating world. As a D&D and (now) Warhammer fan, this shop is absolutely fantastic.OH! If you're curious about getting into it? They offer trial paint sessions. And by trial. I mean, like. Free. You get a free mini-fig to paint in the shop and an excellent tutorial as you paint.(PS, I know I ain't great at painting but I am new to it! Super stoked to get back into collecting as soon as possible once the current situation is over and done with)

The staff are very friendly and helpful, however the sales tactics are undeniable. They are VERY keen to part you with your money. If you're the type to browse first dont let on that you will be leaving empty handed becuase as soon as you do that they will become a lot less interested.I went in to buy stuff but as soon as they realised I had a list of pretty much exactly what I was looking for the transaction quickly sped up to the point where they forgot to even get stuff and I had to mention I needed it (this is my first time getting the stuff to paint models and they forgot to mention texture pot/ grass ect)I mean its not the end of the world. And maybe its just my opinion but I dont like that kind of sales environment. I want staff to be friendly and attentive regardless of my intentions on that day.So while I will visit again most likely I will be uncomfortable knowing that I may not get the best service if I reveal im not there to spend big.
