Montessori school

I have tried to put my 17 month old son in a different nursery about 3 month ago. It was a bit disappointing so I thought about giving up. Then I decided to give it another go with Angels because I heard very good feedback. Thank God I did. He has been going to Angels for 2 months now and he loves it. Those girls are AMAZING. It is quite far from where I live, 7 miles, and I don't drive, I am going by taxi. And I would go not 7, but 14, just to get him there. With all the extraordinary activities they do I wish I could go to nursery. Absolutely in love with this nursery. I cannot thank them enough!!!

Montessori Explorers are a fantastic nursery! My daughter attended from 18 months to attending school and was always very happy there. They have a warm and caring approach, and helped her progress and develop and be ready for the transition to school. Highly recommended!

Our daughter attended Newpark in the Barbican at age 2 for 10 months and had a wonderful experience. We only removed her because we left London, otherwise she would have stayed until age 4. The staff are professional, courteous and very caring with the children. The Montessori principles they follow have been great for our daughter's development and the children get plenty of outside time (despite there not being an outside space at the nursery). If anything, their outside time is more varied as they do daily trips (weather-permitting) to the Barbican gardens, playground, library, museum, etc. rather than always in the same space. 100% recommend. Thank you team!

By far the best nursery I have ever come across. It was the perfect environment for my little boy who had speech delay due to glue ear. We were so blessed by his key worker. She was as committed as we were as parents to help with speech therapy to enable our son to grow and develop. It is a nuturing, homely and safe environment. We have now moved away from the area, but if I could take the nursery with us I would, so my other children could attend. Very special ladies work there with kind big hearts.

Woodlands nursery is a fantastic start to your child’s education. The way in which they are taught and looked after is exceptionally. The staff truly do a fantastic job and care about the quality of teaching / enjoyment that they deliver. The food choices offered are also fantastic, letting child experience dishes from all around the world is so important and helps them become less fussy at home. I’m so pleased we chose to send our daughter to a Montessori nursery as it has helped her develop, make new friends and be well prepared to go onto school.

My son has attended this nursery for two and a half years now and has absolutely loved it. The staff are warm, professional and devoted. The nursery itself is extremely well run and facilities are excellent (especially outdoors). Management are always on top of everything and know the children in the setting well. Observations are up to date and feedback on progress, wellbeing, eating, etc., is always timely and detailed. Most importantly, my son is clearly very happy there and has strong relationships with both key workers and his little peers.

We will always feel extremely grateful that our children had the opportunity to attend The Montessori Nursery School in Edinburgh. Trish and her wonderful team have created a very special space in which the children thrive, learn and grow in every way. Our children both absolutely loved their time there and we all felt bereft when it was time to move on to Primary School.

Staff are always friendly and greet you and your child with a smile! My child loves it here and all her teachers, best decision we could have made.

Fantastic environment for my little one. The staff are wonderful and really keep you informed on your little ones progress and any alert you quickly to any concerns and issues. I work full time and feel very comfortable my little one is being looked after in a safe and friendly setting, which gives me lots of peace of mind!
