Forest of Dean Cycle Centre
Blue and red trails were really fun, nice bikes to hire. The drop off and jump lines were really good to practice on too. Looking forward to coming back again.*Was a super hot day when I rode, the cafe was closed and all the taps were switched off. Had to ride around for a while to find the other visitor centre to get some supplies.

Priory Woods
Good parking area as the woods parking is part of the nearby park. Affordable prices (£2 for 4 hours). The woods are quite nice, but the infrastructure around it is very badly maintained. The fences are all worn out or destroyed, and the indication poles are very aged. One big disadvantage for this forest is the highway that splits the forest almost in two parts, and it doesn't matter how deep you go, there is still a highway noise...

Torrachilty Forest
A favourite wood for walking the dog with a great variety of lengths and difficulties from a quick stroll on the flat to steep and narrow paths that you can walk for miles. Bike trails, picnic tables, seasonal toilets, map and information. Stunning Ross-shire forest and views of Tor Achilty.

Great walk, albeit a bit strenuous for young children or elderly people. The views from the top are amazing.

Had a lovely walk round the lake whilst friends were doing the park run. Spotted lots of hikes and walks so I'll have to come back x
