A true leading light in Plymouth’s culinary scene. First class pastries, sandwiches, coffee and perhaps the best sausage rolls I have ever tried. Great service and atmosphere inside too. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Excellent pastries, the Pain Diplomat is incredible as is the Pain Aux Raisin, in fact every pastry is fantastic! Great work, a long-standing permanent fixture in the local community, good food and great service.The fresh breads are always great and they have a nice variety. Lot's of options, just be quick as it's a popular spot.Keep up the awesome work :)

A cute spot for afternoon tea. It tries to be a bit fancier than it is.. It's a bit rough around the edges (e.g. tea bags instead of loose leaf tea), but the scones and cakes are excellent! We overall really enjoyed our afternoon tea here. Good quality for reasonable prices.

We called in to Rayners Patisserie last week on our way back from Llandudno. With the pandemic it's been a couple of years since we've been here.We love this gorgeous little coffee shop. The lady serving us was lovely. Very helpful and friendly.The coffee and cake was delicious. We can highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning soon.

There were flys buzzing around the cakes. As we wanted a whole we asked if they could get one from the fridge. They refused and became really argumentative. Its a shame i didn't film their behaviour as it was pretty embarrassing for them. I haven't considered going back since. I suggest 40 cakes in morden instead if you want a fresh cake.

Very very disappointed. I went there two days ago at around 10:50 am. Waited more than 15 minutes at the “please wait to be seated” sign with my 3 year old. There was no excuse - half of the seats were empty, both waitress saw us many times but both kept ignoring us. It only took less than 1 minute to take us to any seat and give us a menu and we would actually stayed because we really wanted to!!! Other people in front of us left as well - same situation!

A great little bakery. Everything tastes just a little better than elsewhere. The French Pudding is dangerous, one portion and you will be hooked.

We had an amazing dinner here. A good note for the friendly and patient waiter who took care of us. However, we had the table in front of the barbecue spot and we all smelled smoky when we got out the only negative part. Its just stick on your clothes.

Terrible customer service - Assistant who served thinks she is more important than her paying customers. Kept us waiting while she put away pastries - no apology, then told us cups and saucers were not being used because she is alone - only take-away cups were available. The Latte and Cappuccino were dish water" worthy. Untrained Barista?Paul is expensive

This French bakery cannot be missed because the smell of brioches they make is so delicious! Their other speciality is les merveilleux, you can see them on the photo - equally delicious! Also, you can see the bakers at work, because the wall between the working area and the tea room is made of glass.There are maybe 6 small (2-3 persons) tables. I was there on Sunday at 3pm to meet a friend, and we got a table immediately, but later all tables were busy.The cappuccino I had while waiting was ok, 3.5/5.Facilities: there are no lavatories and no WiFi, but there's a hotel next door if you have an emergency ;-)
