Brilliant shop for all ones sewing needs, good helpful customer service.I have attended a number of 1 day and 2 day courses and have enjoyed them all. Linda is an excellent tutor very patient and knowledgeable. Guest tutors are wonderful and very giving of their hints and tips to help improve ones own work. Would 100% recomend Creative Thread Studio to anyone interested in needlework whether a complete novice or more experienced.

Overall, it was a worthwhile experience that expanded my knowledge and skills in the world of sewing.Christine's expertise in mending and repairing textiles was evident from the start. She shared valuable insights on how to breathe new life into worn-out garments. Her passion for sustainable fashion and the importance of reducing waste resonated throughout the course.Christine's teaching style was clear and concise, making it easy to follow along and understand the intricacies of each method. She provided hands-on demonstrations and offered individualized guidance, ensuring that every participant felt supported and confident in their abilities.The small class size allowed for a collaborative and supportive environment. Sharing ideas and learning from fellow participants added an extra layer of inspiration and motivation. Top marks for Peter, the wonderful engineer who came to my rescue a week ago, along with Sam who co ordinated the process from her home.My precious 14,000 jammed at a time,which couldn't have been worse, amid the CV19 crisis. The packing for my machine was sent out, collection arranged the next day and Peter went into work on the Saturday to fix it. It was returned as soon as humanly possible after the Easter break, in perfect working order with a reminder to wipe down. The cost? A donation to the National Health. I could have cried.Thank you to the whole team for the years of advice, information and support ... but this was above and beyond!With loveJane

Really lovely helpful staff. They listened to why I wanted a sewing machine, made a suggestion, showed me how it worked and let me have a go before my purchase.

Average Vietnamese product and worthless warranty.Bought this product off Amazon UK for my partner. Now the machine doesn't work after being used SIX times and the seller doesn't want to know. Wasted £150 on this junk: I would have been better off spending the money on a second hand Toyota machine.If the owner/seller actually contacts me and helps to sort this out then I will update this review accordingly, as when I purchase a product with TWO years warranty, I don't expect grief. My partner just wants a machine that functions! She's only using it to do basic home sewing...EDIT: Machine seems to be working ok, but don't think it's as good as a Singer or Toyota machine. Time will tell. In fairness, there's a good amount of functions on the Austin. I've changed the review in response to the seller.

Such a great place to visit, the staff are always so friendly and helpful with questions.I have recently discovered making my own clothes and always feel able to pop in and ask about a pattern or material selection.Their range of materials and threads are exciting and they are always on hand to help you find colour combinations for your next piece.I would thoroughly recommend Karen and her colleagues to any new or experienced sewer.
