You can find lots of books here. Always courteous staff. It's just that you don't always find stationeries you look for.

Great shop. Haven’t been there for a while so I’m really sad to hear it’s now closed. Great couple that run it too. Real bookshops are a dying breed. My best wishes for the future to the owners.

Avoid this shop. Owner/staff member ran out of his shop to yell at a stag do who had stopped just outside and was verbally abusive and aggressive to them despite them moving on almost immediately, swearing at them until they were out of sight. The stag do did nothing to initiate any confrontation or enter the shop. Looking at other reviews, this seems to be a regular occurrence and I am surprised he did not attempt to assault someone such was the level of aggression. If this is how he treats the general public, I would advise you don't step foot in his shop

My son 42 has bipolar and agrophobia. He has been unable to go in a shop for 16 years. kev and Matt at the Manchester shop opened up early Sunday morning and let him browse the shop on his birthday. They got him a birthday cupcake and a card andmade him a coffee. They left him alone so he didn't feel anxious. He loves graphic novels and this is the first time his has been able to choose his own in a long time. In his card they invited him to come to the shop anytime he just needed a hour on his own. I can't thank them enough. It was wonderful seeing my son enjoy time out of the house. Thank you againAlison

I emailed my dissertation for printing, and of course was as nervous as could possibly be. They were calming and helpful and were fabulous at pointing out and guiding me through the process. The end product was fabulous and I seriously don't know how I would have got through the last part of the dissertation process had it not been for their support. It is not worth going anywhere else, I recommend them with my whole heart!
