Sri Lankan restaurant

We booked at short notice to take advantage of Gourmet Society Discount. The restaurant is quite small (only around 20 covers) which means it is nice an quiet. Really enjoyed the food, especially the Sri Lankan Curry. Knowledgeable and friendly staff at very reasonable prices (even better with the GS discount!). If we are back in Southend again, it will definitely be on our list

Real / authentic srilankan food !! My favourite is Squid/ cuttlefish curry for sure !!

Four of us went for dinner and it was absolutely wonderful, pefectly cooked in a bag that you simply open and eat as it is, but being shellfish you don't need anything else except the claw crackers. We had the crab, lobster, prawns and mussles, all were delicious. Fries on the side but the sweet potato ones were the best. Very basic decor but great service. About £50 a head including wine and service but great quality and large portions. Will definitely go again.

Had the delight of ordering from this business to cater for a family gathering. Ordered most items of the menu and all items tasted great! They catered for someone with an allergy too.Guests' favourites included the chicken fried rice and mutton kothu.The store front is a chippy but it seems they have the perfect infrastructure for the food they serve.Communication was good, food available on time, cooked fresh on the day and importantly: DELICIOUS.I will be coming here again from London just for their food.Thank you guys for your incredible food! Dear Kamu Restaurant,Thank you very much for the Rice pack and the Kottu you have made for my pregnant wife, she loved it so much. To fulil my wife's craving I have searched /tried so many places in Watford as some claim to be 100% Sri Lankan but unfortunately none of them are like the quality and taste of your restaurant.I will always recomemend this fine establishment for those who love to eat South Asian cuisine.*****

Best Sri Lankan food in Brighton and Hove! The veggie thali is delicious, and for meat eaters the black pork curry is excellent! The rotis and sambol are so tasty…. The whole menu is really great! Fabulous takeaways or why not make an evening of it and eat in at the super dog-friendly Bottoms Rest?

Bad behaviour from staff , high price for food

A hidden gem in Thurso. Food was absolutely delicious. Great friendly staff. Looking forward to my next visit. Its also worth nothing, if you are getting a spicy dish you are offered mild, medium or hot spices. And if you have a boring friend they can have British cuisine!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the Wirral. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with it, aromatic, Delicious, Flavorful, mouth-watering. The service we received was amazing.
