Trade school

Went here recently for a team building event. I was amazed at how much we were able to create between us during the session! Very knowledgeable team on site to guide us through and was a really fun session. Would highly recommend if you're looking for something different to do - I'll definitely be back will probably try and book a session to bring my kids along.

As a result of being made redundant mid 2018, I decided to do something totally different and completed a plumbing course (practical training and exams) with access training in Cardiff and my instructor (Chico) was superb and I learnt an awful lot through him resulting in a positive outcome. I have already started my Gas course and my instructor (John) has also been superb through the theory and practical phases and I’m really enjoying it. The admin staff at Cardiff are also really personable and helpful and I have had a good experience of the centre. My only critique would have been the sale of the course and knowing others have had the same package as me for less but after speaking to them, I understood it’s like many businesses have offers at certain times (such as airlines charge different prices for tickets to the same destination dependant on when you buy) and if you’re lucky enough to get one then bonus! I’ve given 5 stars for the centre as I had a really good training experience! It’s never too late to retrain and I’d recommend using this place for sure.

Great two weeks completing practical training and then assessment with ECTA as part of Access Training, Core Electrical course.

Training was great pass my electrical course, superb atsmofire, ECTA is good recomedecion for change your careers.

Mrs O’Brien helped our son to achieve his maths A Level which was critical to getting his place at university. She identified the areas to focus on and was always very friendly and flexible. We would definitely recommend Mrs O’Brien.

A very well run, clean and well organised learning center, offering lots of courses across various topics. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Leon's quality of training on the water regs and heat pumps course was second to none. Lots of useful information provided during the training and excellent preparation ahead of the exams. I'd highly recommend Leon!

Excellent through and through. High quality tutors who use their industry knowledge and experience to instil confidence in the learners. Admin/office staff are also very helpful and supportive. Highly recommended for anyone considering a career change, new qualifications or just needing to update their skills.

I am from New York City, vacation in London and decided to take a hair course. I really enjoy Slates 2 day hair course especially taught by Michael Pitsillides. He is very talented, funny and kind, I have learn so much from him. I would recommend Slate education for those that love quality and detail work.
