Just came back from a fantastic holiday will defo be going bk

Great little site, with a fab location near the river and easy access to York. Lovely spacious flat pitches, small quiet site and brand new facilities (almost complete, but not a problem). The owner was accommodating to us and kept the facilities clean and tidy. We will return again and stay longer

Stunning location. Definitely 5* accommodation. Everything you could wish for, including a bountiful tea-tray with rocky road!! Dressing gowns in wardrobe, binoculars for watching wildlife - including hares on driveway in the evening. Superb locally sourced breakfast. Very friendly host. Patio garden with fountain for peaceful moments. Will be back!!!

Company is incapable of answering any questions and keeps referring me back to the cruise company. Really disappointed with the service. Not helpful at all.

Beautiful from the moment you walk through the door. A lovely kitchen sitting room area which has everything you need cook or relax in. The bathroom is great and Ang changed the towels regularly and also the bath mats. Upstairs the bed is huge and rearly comfy. We have been before and would definitely come back. When we arrived there was a bottle of wine on the table with two glasses and when we got back on Thursday a gorgeous cream tea awaiting us. Lovely people who do all they can to make your stay amazing.

Gobsmacked at the negative reviews!I had a one night stay, arrived after normal check in time and this was nowhere near an issue to Andy. When I did meet him, there was nothing but a warm friendly welcome and encouragement to watch the impending sheep shearing!The site was lovely, clean and quiet with great facilities. Toilets were clean, showers hot and the pot washing place was clean and had hot water. I cannot understand how anyone has any negativity towards this site and the owners!On Saturday evening I enjoyed a 5 min walk to the local pub who has a 'dog bar' with free biscuits and water bowls. The human food was well received too!On Sunday morning I had a stroll on the cycle path towards York and stumbled across Tuck Trike where you can get snacks and drinks or take your own food for picnic or use their BBQ.I'm definitely coming back for a full weekend and will take advantage or either the bus into town or club together with mates to hire a boat. Or just soak up the chilled friendly atmosphere at the campsite...

Driver of reg number PO17 CLF driver today endangering road users on M1. Driving erratically between j8 and j9, tail gaiting, swerving back and forth between lanes 1 and 3. Almost took out a merc in traffic and cut up a lorry. Driver need to be fired immediately or he's going to kill people

Young men's hostel.

Very rude driver who banged unnecessarily on my car as I was parking in front of his coach this morning in Plymouth and told me in no uncertain terms not to park too close to him. I wasn't going to park too close, I am an advanced driver and know all about the rules of the road and leaving enough space for other vehicles to exit etc. Whilst wearing The Travellers Choice uniform drivers should be aware they are representing the company and be polite and friendly to all. This was not the way to ask someone to move anyway but had he waited for 2 seconds I was about to move forward anyhow. I now have a negative opinion of the company and will not ever look to travel with them in the future. Customer service training needed for this rude man methinks.

By far the best I've ever stayed in at Blackpool. The rooms are decorated beautifully and a warm welcome from the owners is just the beginning. The rooms have everything you could ever need and agnes and David are on hand should you need anything.They even include a little thank you gift bag on the bed with chocolate and crisps in, which again reflects the lovely owners.The breakfasts are beautiful and they'll make whatever you want. Absolutely will be booking here again!
