The Cenotaph
Amazing experience visiting the Cenotaph. During Remembrance Week & then on Remembrance Day itself. Sombre & uplifting at the same time. No trouble experienced by me at all, despite some scuffles I saw through the news. Quite respectful in fact.

Pic Tor War Memorial
Stunning war memorial with amazing scenery. Really serene and peaceful area and absolutely worthwhile of the walk up. The effort the construction must've taken is definitely worth it.Graveyard in the nearby church on the way down if you choose the less walked path is also worthy of a respectful walk around.

Guards Crimean War Memorial
The Guards Crimean War Memorial commemorates the victory of the Allied force in the Crimean War. The memorial represents three soldiers: Grenadier, Scots and Coldstream guardsmen. Above them a figure represents the Victory with open arms, holding two laurel crowns. In 1914 the memorial was moved few meters back from its original place to allow the erection of the statues of Florence Nightingale and Sidney Herbert.
