Blakeney Harbour Room
Went to see a Creedance Clearwater Revival tribute act there. Such a good night out! The band were pretty tight and it was totally unexpected in sleepy little Blakeney. Everyone was very friendly and I had a really good time. I would recommend going there on a Saturday evening.

Vue Cinema Thanet - Westwood Cross
Took our son for Mini Mornings Saturday screening. Disappointingly… over thirty minutes of adverts at a child’s screening! It defeats the object of having one for toddlers if it’s much the same as any other screening. He lost interest during the actual showing and we had to leave early. We won’t return for this. Other cinemas offer screenings with very few adverts meaning little minds can focus on the right things. Very disappointing indeed. The one star is for comfortable seating.

Haughley Park
We booked Haughley Park for our wedding venue on 12th August 2023 and have been absolutely blown away by the beauty of the barn and the management of our day by Martine, Mandy, and the rest of the team. The setting was perfect, so rural and intimate, and from start to finish the planning process was made easy with regular correspondence by the team. We even got our outdoor ceremony, despite the threat of rain! The night before the main event, my bridal party and I stayed in the Farmhouse (with my Chaperone, our dog, Barney!) which in itself is such a gorgeous place to stay and has everything you need to unwind before or after the big day!Throughout it all, every member of staff was so friendly and professional, and personable. It's such an outstanding venue, we could not have imagined getting married anywhere else! 100% would recommend if you're after something charmingly rustic that you can really put your stamp on!

The Waeccer
We all had a 2 course Sunday Roast. Food was decent, plate was full and the quantity of meat was great but the meat was a tad to fatty for my liking. The cocktails were so good though!! Pina colada was my favourite, just how I like it.

Vue Cinema Thanet - Westwood Cross
We went here to see the Nun 2. It was very busy as a number of screens were showing new movies just out. The staff were helpful and polite, showing us where to go.The screen we went into was one of the smaller ones with 53 seats. There was plenty of leg room, the seats were all reclining with small drink and food resting tables, making it very comfortable. A very enjoyable experience.

Norfolk Showground
Attended Newday at the Norfolk Showground, a Christian youth festival which happens every year. The showground is usually tidy and well kept when we arrive and we have never had any issues with the showground itself - however some of the on site facilities and toilets could do with a bit of an upgrade.

Holkham Hall
I’d never been to Holkham Hall before and felt extremely thrilled and privileged that I got the opportunity to see the magical Christmas by Candlelight there in December!Such a stunning place, with every room exquisitely decorated with a different Christmas theme, even the kitchens. So much thought and detail was put into every decorative display. You could sense the pride that each of the stewards had in ‘their’ room as they explained the origins and reasons for particular objects and artifacts. All in all, I had a thoroughly wonderful evening. I can’t wait to visit again next year.
